Analysis
Lone Star Park enetered into an agreement with the City in November of 2003 that provided for the placement of the Lone Star Park Logo on the then being constructed water tower known as the Bowles Park Elevated Water Tank. The agreement also provided certain advertising for the City at the Lones Star Park Facility. The existing agreement expired on November 20, 2011.
Lone Star Race Park, LTD and the City desire to enter into a new advertising agreement and maintain the existing logo on said tank for the term of eight years from the execution of the agreement. Lone Star shall pay the City $600 each month during the term of the agreement. Lone Star shall also provide: 1) Daily 1/4 page advertisements in either the Lone Star Today and the Lone Star Racebook 2) One 14" x 42" indoor backlit sign prominently located on the second floor of the grand stand near the escalator to be displayed during the term of this agreement and 3) daily promotional messages on the Bar and Book message center boards.
Financial Consideration
Lones Star Park will continue to pay the current advertising rate of $600 per month.
