Analysis
The widening of Great Southwest Parkway from I-20 to Mayfield Road was approved for acquisition by negotiation or condemnation on the September 20, 2016, City Council Agenda 16-6054 for Capital Improvement Projects 2017/2018. An appraisal has been performed by the City determing the amount at $69,013. This owner has agreed to sell the 0.035 acre (1,529 s.f.) in fee simple and 0.071 acre (3,120 s.f) for easements in the amount of $69,013. This amount is reasonable considering appraised value, time and court costs. The City will pay all title insurance expenses and closing costs.
