As the fiscal year ended for, FY 2017/2018, the Municipal Court Judicial Efficiency Fund exceed approved expenditures by $1,049 for insurance verification. Therefore it is necessary to amended the budget at this time.
This item was presented to the Finance and Government Committee on February 5th, 2019 for their approval and recommendation.
Financial Consideration
Funding for the FY 2017/2018 Municipal Court Judicial Efficiency Budget is available by approving an ordinance transferring and appropriating from the unobligated fund balance in the amount of $1,049 for insurance verification.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FY 2017/2018 MUNICIPAL COURT JUDICIAL EFFICIENCY FUND BY APPROPRIATING AND TRANSFERRING $1,049 FROM THE UNOBLIGATED FUND BALANCE TO INCREASE EXPENDITURES FOR INSURANCE VERIFICATION PROPOSES (3121-193010-61485).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. THAT THE FY 2017/2018 Municipal Court Judicial Efficiency Fund be amended by appropriating and transferring $1,049 from the unobligated fund balance to insurance verification account (2121-193010-61485).
