Analysis

On May 5, 2015 (15-4597) the City of Grand Prairie awarded a professional surveying contract to Keeton Surveying company in the total amount of $85,000. This professional surveying contract will provide miscellaneous as-needed on-call professional surveying services for the City of Grand Prairie.

 

This professional surveying service can be used by various City Departments and in particular the Engineering and Public Works Departments.

 

Change Order Amendment No. 1 was a time extension only.

 

This Change Order Amendment No. 2 in the amount of $55,000 will bring the total contract amount to $140,000. The revised contract expiration date will be August 30, 2017.

 

Financial Consideration

Funding is provided in the amount of $30,000 in the Street Capital Projects Fund (400192), WO #01607201 (FY16 Survey Work) Survey and Studies (61405) with additional funding up to $25,000 to be provided from various Operating or Capital Projects funds to perform professional surveying work as needed.
