Analysis
The Grand Connection has been operating Trapeze Software for approximately eight years. Trapeze is proprietary dispatch software that books, records and maintains passenger and trip information and is capable of adding services that perform other functions. Any other vendor would need to design, build and support an interface with the Trapeze system and database.

Trapeze tools plug-in to the existing infrastructure. By adding the Trapeze tools, The Grand Connection is extending the existing infrastructure to provide additional features instead of implementing a new system all together.

By adding this upgrade to our existing system, we can provide real-time interaction between the vehicle fleet and dispatch office for safer and more efficient operations.

MDTS is also helping to ensure control and accuracy with more abilities to the drivers and dispatcher to perform their daily duties and better serve our clients. The upgrade provides features such as next trip look-up in the vehicle so the driver can look ahead to better plan and prepare for future pick-ups and client pictures which will provide better identification and security of the clients, and this will help the Grand Connection to become paperless. From implementation to support and maintenance, a single solution is easier to maintain.

Financial Consideration
