Price agreement for office supply purchases from Office Depot through a national inter-local agreement with The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN) for an estimated annual cost of $300,000 with the option to renew for four additional one-year periods totaling $1,500,000 if all extensions are exercised; and authorize the City Manager to execute the renewal options with aggregate price fluctuations of the lesser of up to $50,000 or 25% of the original maximum price so long as sufficient funding is appropriated by the City Council to satisfy the City’s obligation during the renewal terms

This contract will be for general office supplies, such as paper, pens, toner and ink. Purchases will be made by individual departments on as needed basis using the Office Depot BSD Website(s).
Office Depot through their TCPN contract offers fixed pricing for all items listed in the current Office Depot Business Solutions Big Book Catalog. A core list of 1250 items will be designated with the “best value” icon on the BSD Website. All other items shall be designated with “Preferred” icon on the BSD Website.
As a participating agency under the TCPN program the City will be paid a 1% rebate based on the City’s annual spend. The rebate will be disbursed within ninety (90) days of the first anniversary of the date of our initial purchase under the TCPN contract. An additional rebate ranging from 0.5% to 1% will be paid for internet purchases based on the percentage of annual spend.
