Analysis

This contract is for the purchase of dog and cat food for animals housed in Prairie Paws Adoption Center.

 

Notice of bid #18104 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram and Bid Sync; it was distributed to 29 vendors. There were no Grand Prairie vendors available for this commodity.  One (1) bid was received as shown on attachment A.

 

The award was based on best value criteria set up in the specification, including price, food analysis, customer reviews, and delivery schedule.

 

Nature’s Select of Fort Worth meets specifications and is recommended for award. 

 

Financial Consideration

Funds are available in FY 2017/2018 budget 301110-60230 for Animal Feed and Supplies will be charged accordingly on orders through the end of the current fiscal year.  Funding for future fiscal years will be paid from that year’s approved budgets.
