Analysis
Freetown Road Phase III between Carrier Parkway and S.W 3rd Street is proposed to be constructed as a 3-lane 41’- wide concrete thoroughfare; this roadway will replace the existing aged 2-lane asphalt road and will improve traffic flow and provide a smooth riding surface for vehicular traffic. Also included in this roadway improvement is a 6’-wide sidewalk along the south side of the street, drainage and water main improvements.

This project provides for the installation of a 12" water supply line parallel to an existing 12” water main in Freetown Road between Carrier Parkway and SW 3rd Street; this new waterline is part of the City-wide water master plan.

This project consists of approximately 2300 linear feet, 10,000 SY of 3-lane (41’ wide) 9” reinforced concrete pavement, 10,560 SY 6” flex base for sub-grade, 2,170 LF 72”-18” RCP storm drain pipe 2250 LF 12” PVC Water, 1,670 LF 8” PVC Water and other miscellaneous and related items of work.

Please note that the project is to be built in two phases. The duplex residents, church, three apartment complexes, convenience store, and day care affected, will have alternate access routes while the project is being constructed. Construction of this project is scheduled to begin in late September 2014 with completion in late May 20...
