Analysis

This contract will be utilized by various departments for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF).

 

Notice of bid #18044 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram, and Bid Sync; it was distributed to 133 vendors.  There were two (2) Grand Prairie vendors available for this commodity.  Four (4) bids were received as shown on attachment A.

 

The low bid received from Western Marketing meets specifications and is recommended for award. 

 

Financial Consideration

Funds are available in various departments operating budgets and will be charged accordingly on orders through the end of the fiscal year.  Funding for future fiscal years will be paid from that year’s approved budgets.
