Analysis

Improvements to the gym floor will include installation of a custom Summit Court System with 2nd and Better Grade MFMA Maple over top of the current Mondo surface (wall to wall).  Price includes installation of rubber cove base around perimeter of court and SafePath rubber transitions at entryways, custom graphics and game lines, and gym floor finish.

State purchasing laws authorize local government to enter into Interlocal and Cooperative agreements for performance of government functions normally associated with the operation of government, such as purchasing of necessary materials and supplies.  The City of Grand Prairie does not need to competitively bid items purchased through such agreements as they have already been bid by the supporting Entity.  The City of Grand Prairie has a master interlocal cooperative agreement with TIPS/TAPS.
