Analysis

This contract will be utilized to repair or replace automobile windshield for all fleet vehicles. Repair or replacement of windshields are needed due to damages from accidents or weather related damages, such as hail.

 

Notice of bid #18084 was advertised and distributed to 500 vendors. There were three Grand Prairie vendors available for this commodity. Only one bid was received as shown on attachment A.

 

The low bid received from A-1 Auto Glass meets specifications and is recommended for award.

 

Financial Consideration

Funds are available in various departments operating budgets and will be charged accordingly on orders through the end of the fiscal year.  Funding for future fiscal years will be paid from that years approved budgets.
