Analysis

The property owner, HTA-Grand Prairie Hospital, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, wants to erect a monument sign on a City-owned  25-foot wide utility and drainage easement.  This monument sign (See Exhibit “B” for aerial map) will be constructed in the Kingswood Center Addition, Lot 1R, Block 1, Tarrant County, near Kingswood  Boulevard .  This sign will not block visibility at this intersection.  The proposed monument sign (See Exhibit “A” for detailed sign description)  will be approximately eight-feet tall,  thirteen-feet wide and one-foot thick.  The sign will be double-sided masonry and internally illuminated with LED lighting.

Staff has reviewed the requested request and recommends approval of the encroachment agreement. (See agreement attached as Exhibit “C”)
