Analysis
The abandonment applicant, Derrick Jones, has requested the abandonment of a 7.5-foot utility easement on the south (rear) side of their lot. All public utility companies have agreed to the abandonment. Mr. Jones wants to install a swimming pool at this location.

Staff has reviewed the requested abandonment and finds that the abandonment of the 7.5-foot easement will not hinder drainage or utilities in the area. All pre-existing drainage patterns will be maintained.
