Analysis
The City is expanding the existing streets maintenance facility in Dallas County and needs electrical service. Oncor Electric requires an easement dedicated to their exclusive use (See attached Exhibit "A" for Easement and property description). This easement will be located on the 30.52 acre maintenance facility station site already owned by the City near SH 360 and Davis Drive in Mansfield.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF AN EXCLUSIVE PERMANENT EASEMENT AND RIGHT OF WAY TO ONCOR ELECTRIC DELIVERY FOR 0.042 ACRE OF LAND REQUIRED FOR THE EXPANSION OF THE EXISTING STREETS MAINTENANCE FACILITY IN DALLAS COUNTY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DELEGATE TO ENTER INTO AND SIGN ANY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO COMPLETE THE EASEMENT CONVEYANCE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC, requires the City convey an exclusive electric utility easement; and
WHEREAS, said easement is required to supply electricity to the City's new expansion of the streets maintenance facility located in Dallas County in the Benjamin Adair Survey, Abstract No. 19 (see attached Exhibit "A" for property description and easement); and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grand Prairie desires to convey the easement and right of way to Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS:
