Analysis
As part of the Budget process projections (how the fiscal year will end) for the FY 2015/2016 Operating Funds are reviewed by the City Manager and are presented to the City Council. There are several funds that have exceeded the approved appropriation budget and are now having to be approved for the incremental increase by the City Council.
Financial Consideration
Funding for the incremental increases are available either from the fund balance or better than expected revenues in each of the individual funds. The detailed information for the total incremental increase of $4,535,499 is provided in the ordinance.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS, APPROVING THE BUDGET SUBMITTED BY THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS, AS REVISED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, AMENDING THE CURRENT FY 2015/2016 OPERATING BUDGETS REFLECTED IN SECTION 1 BELOW:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS;
SECTION 1. THAT THE Operating Budgets for FY 2015/2016 submitted by the City Manager, and adjusted by the Council, is hereby incrementally amended for the following funds:
