Price agreement with Iron T Construction for Drainage Ditch Maintenance (up to $441,125 annually) for one year with the option to renew for four additional one year periods totaling $2,220,625 if all extensions are exercised; and authorize the City manager to execute the renewal options with aggregate price fluctuations of the lesser of up to $50,000 or 25% of the original maximum price so long as sufficient funding is appropriated by the City Council to satisfy the City's obligation during the renewal terms

Analysis
This is an annual price agreement for Iron T Construction to provide drainage ditch maintenance services. These services include but are not limited to excavation, shaping, storm drain pipe installation, end treatments, structural work, rip rap, and the removal and replacement of concrete in ditches.
Notice of bid #19022 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram and Bid Sync; it was distributed to fifteen (15) vendors. There were no known Grand Prairie vendors available for this commodity. Two (2) bids were received as shown on attachment A. Annual estimated quantities are not known and will vary from year to year.
The low bid received from Iron T Construction meets specifications and is recommended for award.
Financial Consideration
The award amount of $441,125 is a maximum one-year amount that may or may not be utilized. Funds are available in the 401592 (Storm Drainage Capital Project Fund), 01907203 (FY19 Bar Ditch Improvements), 63030 (Streets, Roads and Highway Maintenance), and will be charged accordingly on orders through the end of the current fiscal year.
