Analysis

On July 7, 2009 the Grand Prairie City Council awarded a construction to AUI Contractors, Inc. for the FY 09 Inflow and Infiltration Replacements in the amount of $455,422.45 and contingency of $22,772 for a total amount of $478,194.45.

 

This project provided for the installation of approximately 1,900 linear feet of 15-inch sanitary sewer by open cut, 700 linear feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer by open cut, 800 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer by open cut, 18 sanitary sewer manholes, the construction of two sanitary sewer aerial crossings and various appurtenances associated with sanitary sewer installation at the following locations:

-                                          N.W. 19th Street @ Cain Lane

-                     1014 S.E. 5th Street

-                     May Lane

 

The revised project cost was $427,578.45

 

Financial Consideration

This final reconciliation/Change Order No. 1 consists of a decrease of -$27,844 which requires Council approval.

 

No additional funding is required.  $27,844 will be released into the unobligated fund balance of the Wastewater Capital Project Fund (500692).
