Analysis
The abandonment applicants, Heath Orr and Candace Orr, have requested the abandonment of a portion a 5.0-foot utility easement located on the north side of their lot (see aerial as exhibit “B”). All public utility companies have agreed to the abandonment. The Orrs want to install a swimming pool and spa at this location.
Staff has reviewed the requested abandonment and finds that the abandonment of that portion of the 5.0-foot easement will not hinder drainage or utilities in the area. All pre-existing drainage patterns will be maintained.
