Request for proposals were advertised on July 18, 2017 for food & beverage services at Prairie Lakes Golf Course.
Notice of proposal # 17126 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram and Bid Sync. Two bids were received as shown on attachment A; one Grand Prairie vendor, Eddlemon Brothers, submitted a bid.
Under the specifications of the bid, the awarded vendor will provide food & beverage services to Prairie Lakes Golf Course as well as manage and administer the Private Club alcohol sales; the city will receive a revenue share from food & beverage sales. The bid received from Eddlemon Brothers is the recommended bid for award based on evaluation criteria formulated in the bid and score results from city staff evaluations of the proposals. Eddlemon Brothers has provided food & beverage services to Prairie Lakes Golf Course since 2006 and is a Grand Prairie vendor.
Financial Consideration
Prairie Lakes Golf Course will receive fifteen percent (15%) of gross food and beverage revenues from Eddlemon Brothers; revenues from the existing food & beverage lease at Prairie Lakes Golf Course totaled $17,960 in FY16; similar revenues are expected in the future term of the new lease.
