Analysis

This price agreement will be utilized to make repairs to private customer irrigation systems, which have been damaged by City work crews, while making repairs and routine maintenance to City facilities located in the city right-of-way.

 

Notice of bid #19115 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram and Bid Sync; it was distributed to 25 vendors. There were no Grand Prairie vendors available for this commodity. Only one bid was received as shown on attachment A.

 

The bid received from Greycon, Inc., meets specifications and is recommended for award.

 

Financial Consideration

Funds are available in FY 2018/2019 Water/Wastewater Operating Fund, Wastewater Maintenance 361111, Sanitary Sewer Maintenance 63020 and Water Distribution 361211, Water Mains Maintenance 63095 and will be charged accordingly on orders through the end of the current fiscal year. Funding for future fiscal years will be paid from that year's approved budgets.
