Analysis
This project provides for the construction of approximately 600 linear feet of right turn lane from eastbound IH-20 frontage road to southbound Lake Ridge Parkway; it also provides for traffic signal modifications and storm drain inlets and fire hydrant relocations.
The City of Grand Prairie advertised and received Five (5) bids for this project on October 31, 2018; bids were publicly read as follows:
Tiseo Paving Company Total Bid: $399,625.00
XIT Paving and Construction Total Bid: $399,696.00
Pavecon Public Works Total Bid: $421,762.79
Fort Worth Civil Constructors Total Bid: $457,829.34
Rebcon Total Bid: $478,785.00
Based on consultant recomendaiton, Staff also recommends that this project be awarded to Tiseo Paving Company in the amount of amount of $399,625.00
Construction of this project is anticipated to start about Mid-December 2018 with projected completion in April 2018.
