Analysis
Funds were authorized in the FY 2014/2015 Park Capital Projects Fund for the purchase of a fairway sprayer for Prairie Lakes and a pull behind blower for Tangle Ridge. The equipment and accessories are available on Buy Board with Luber Bros. Contract #447-14.
State purchasing laws authorize local governments to enter into cooperative purchase agreements for the performance of governmental functions normally associated with the operation of government, such as purchasing of necessary materials and supplies. The City of Grand Prairie does not need to competitively bid items purchased through such agreements. The City Of Grand Prairie has master inter-local cooperative agreements with Buy Board.
