Analysis
This agreement is for preventative maintenance and repairs as needed for the City’s uninterrupted power supply (‘UPS’) system, inspection and testing of equipment and all related components, diagnostic and repair/replacement as needed. Year one of this contract also includes the replacement of two UPS batteries.

Notice of bid #17068 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram, the State's Electronic Business Daily, and Bid Sync; it was distributed to 26 vendors. There were no Grand Prairie vendors available for this commodity. Three bids were received as shown on attachment A.

The award was based on best value criteria set up in the specification, including battery replacement cost, reputation, qualifications, price, past relationship with the city and other municipalities, if they were local, and other relevant criteria as listed in the specification.

DC Group was determined to have submitted the best value bid, meets specifications and is recommended for award.

Financial Consideration
Funds are available in IT Acquisition FY 2016/2017 budget 153210-68360 for Other Equipment and will be charged accordingly on orders through the end of the curren...
