Analysis
On May 1, 2018, (18-7793) the City of Grand Prairie council approved a construction contract with TNT Farms and Landscaping in the amount of $395,490 for the Johnson Creek Channel Floor Repair.
The current Amendment/Change Order No. 2 allows for final reconciliation of all items based on final inspection and measurements resulting in the net negative amount of $296.58. (decrease amount of $18,915.00; increase amount of $18,618.42)
Amendment/change order No.1 approved by the City on July 12, 2018 in the amount $24,970 allowed for additional site preparation, construction staking, water management, grouted rock riprap with geotextile.
State statutes require City Council approval of change orders when the cumulative cost exceeds $50,000. The project is complete however the cumulative amount of Amendment/Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $24,970 and the current Amendment/Change Order No. 2 amount of $37,533.42 totals $62,503.42 which requires council approval.
Total Project cost: $420,163.42

No additional funding required for this final reconciliation amendment/change order No. 2, project funding is in the Storm Drainage Capital Projects Fund (401592) WO #01806503 (FY18 Misc Drainage Improvements)
