Analysis

Scientel Wireless, LLC, under contract with Motorola, implemented the wireless communication network and has provided all maintenance and support services since the implementation in 2011.

 

Wireless communication network requires to remain in a good state of maintenance with little or no down time.  This agreement includes 24/7 repair responses to all onsite infrastructure, equipment services, and software upgrades.

 

Financial Consideration

Funding for a contract with Scientel Wireless, in the amount of $87,157.70 is available in the FY 2015/2016 General Fund Budget, Traffic Management Center, account 261210-60620.
