Title
Contract with J. Bob's Kettle Corn & Fudge for one year with four one-year renewal options for concession at Prairie Lights with a 22% commission back to the City estimated at $55,000 annually based on gross revenues collected by vendor totaling $250,000 (estimated), if all extensions are exercised; authorize the City Manager to execute the renewal options with aggregate price fluctuations of the lesser of up to $50,000 or 25% of the original maximum price so long as sufficient funding is appropriated by the City Council to satisfy the City's obligation during the renewal terms

This concession bid is for concession food/beverage items for purchase by guests in the Holiday Village tent at Prairie Lights. J Bob's Kettle Corn & Fudge has been the City's contract vendor for the past thirteen years and has received excellent reviews from our guests.
The sealed bid request #19143 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram and Bid Sync; it was viewed by eight vendors, one of which was a Grand Prairie Vendor. J. Bob's Kettle Corn & Fudge was the sole bidder on this RFP.
The City shall receive 22% of the monthly gross receipts from concession operations at Prairie Lights per the agreement.
Financial Consideration
J Bob's Kettle Corn has agreed to pay the City 22% of the monthly gross receipts at Prairie Lights. The percentage represents a 2% increase from the previous contract. Last year's revenue for this contract was $49,851.
