Analysis
On Tuesday, September 27, 2016 the City of Grand Prairie opened bids for Phillips Court Storm Drainage Improvements Water and Wastewater Replacements. The low bidder is Reytech Services, LLC in the Base Bid amount of $673,916.27 for total bid amount of $673,916.27.

This project was identified as part of the FY16 Capital Projects Budget and Capital Projects Plan for Proposed Storm Drainage Projects. The Phillips Court storm drainage project provides for construction of a parallel storm drain relief line to provide improved flood protection for Phillips Court between the drainage channel crossing west of Brent Court and Phillips Circle. This project also provides replacement of old water and wastewater mains and service lines between SW 3rd Street and SE 4th Street in advance of the reconstruction of Phillips Court by Street Services. This drainage improvement is part of the city wide master drainage plan for the Cottonwood Creek watershed to provide 100-year flood protection for the community.
This project provides for the construction of a storm drainage box conduit and pipe and inlets improvements to drain Phillips Court and replacement of old water and wastewater mains and service lines in Phillips Court from SW 3rd Street to SE 4th Street.
