Analysis

This agreement will be for the purchase of grass seed.  The grass seed is to be used to facilitate grass replacement at various locations throughout the City, including but not limited to construction projects, golf courses, etc.

Notice of bid #18072 was advertised in the Fort Worth Star Telegram, the State's Electronic Business Daily, and Bid Sync; it was distributed to ten vendors. There was one Grand Prairie vendor available for this commodity who did not submit a response.  One bid was received as shown on attachment A.

Justin Seed meets specifications and is recommended for award.

Financial Consideration

Funds are available in various departments operating budgets and will be charged accordingly on orders through the end of the fiscal year.  Funding for future fiscal years will be paid from that year’s approved budgets.
