Analysis

Through the RAMP program, TxDOT-Aviation Division assists airports in maintenance of their facilities by providing funding for fifty percent (50%) of the cost for specific maintenance items.  For FY 2013 the airport has been offered a RAMP grant for $100,000 ($50,000 City/$50,000 TxDOT-Aviation).  Items included in the scope of work are pavement improvements, security improvements, National Airspace Data Interchange Network fees for the Automated Weather Observation System and other maintenance needs of the airport.

Financial Consideration

Funding in the amount of $50,000 is provided in the FY 2012/2013 Airport Capital Projects Fund (505292) RAMP Project Grant.
