Consider a request to approve a site plan to construct and operate a school. The 8.98-acre property, located at 4603, 4607, and 4611 S. Carrier Parkway, is zoned PD-136C for residential uses.

PURPOSE OF REQUEST:

The purpose of this application is to construct and operate a charter school on 8.98 acres at the northeast corner of South Carrier Parkway and Polo Road.

BACKGROUND:

On July 12, 2016, the applicant submitted a site plan request to construct and operate a charter school.

On August 18, 2016, September 22, 2016, and October 27, 2016, Development Review Committee (DRC) met to discuss the proposal. The DRC cleared the project to move forward for review by the Planning and Zoning Commission.

On August 18, 2016, August 28, 2016, September 22, 2016, October 2, 2016, October 27, 2016, and November 6, 2016, notice of a public hearing for the site plan was published in the Fort Worth Star Telegram.
