PURPOSE OF REQUEST:
The applicant is seeking specific use permit to develop and operate a used car lot at 47 and 48 Camden Drive, Grand Prairie, Texas. Originally the applicant was also seeking approval of general auto repair and auto body and painting, but he subsequently removed those uses from this request. All used auto sales facilities require the approval of a specific use permit in all zoning districts where they are permitted per Article 4, “Permissible Uses” of the Unified Development Code, Section 4.8.4.
