Analysis
The Parks, Arts, and Recreation Department has operated a Rugby Field and a Cricket Field at the Clear Zone property located at Bagdad and Main Street for the past 10 years. The property is surrounded by 6’ chainlink fence that is old and dilapidated. This project will replace the old 6' fence with new 4' chain link fence on the East and West sides and 4' rod iron fence on the South (Main Street) side.
Notice of bid #19111 was advertised and distributed to 32 vendors. There was one (1) Grand Prairie vendor available for this commodity. Seven (7) bids were received as shown on attachment A.
The low bid received from Llano River Fence meets specifications and is recommended for award.
